Dr Deepak was born in London and trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in Central London, graduating in 2005.

Since then he has worked across a broad range of specialities in London, priming him for a career in General Practice (Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, General Medicine and Psychiatry).
​
He has placed a great emphasis on postgraduate education during his career  completing his formal Royal College exams, as well as postÂgraduate diplomas prior to moving to Australia.
​
He is a firm believer in a holistic approach to patient care. He is an accredited provider of Shared Antenatal care Âwith a recognised diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has a keen interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Dr Nuwan Athauda

Dr Nuwan was born and educated in London and completed his medical training at University College London (UCL). After graduating in 2002, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, general medicine and public health. Dr Nuwan completed his general practice training in 2006 attaining his MRCGP post graduate qualification as well as diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology and dermatology.

After working as a GP in the UK Dr Nuwan emigrated to Australia in 2010 where he gained the fellowship to The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Nuwan has a keen interest in paediatrics and family medicine.
​
Having young children of his own has provided him with a greater insight to paediatric care. He believes that continuity of care is the key to better health and wellbeing. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his young family and is a keen golfer.
Dr Michelle Lee
MBBS (Hons) FRACGP CSCT (Women’s Health)
Dr. Michelle Lee was born and educated in Melbourne, graduating from Monash University in 1997 with honours.
She completed her residency at Peninsula Health, gaining broad experience in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Aged Care and Psychiatry, before embarking on her chosen career in General Practice.
Michelle completed her RACGP qualifications in 2002 and is a former examiner for the College of General Practitioners. She has been a part of Ashburton Family Practice since it’s first year and is a well established family doctor, with nearly twenty years practicing in Ashburton and surrounding suburbs.
Michelle aims to provide quality, holistic medical care across a patient’s lifespan including paediatrics, aged care, mental health, women’s and men’s health. She welcomes all existing patients and looks forward to establishing new patient relationships.
She is married with two teenagers and a rescue Ragdoll cat.
Dr Erroleen Fung
MBBS (Hons) FRACGP
Dr Erroleen Fung was born and educated in Melbourne, graduating from Monash University in 1997 with honours. Her internship and residency were completed at Box Hill Hospital and the Angliss Hospital where she gained experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, Urology and Psychiatry, before embarking on her chosen career in general practice. Dr Erroleen completed her RACGP qualifications in 2002.

With more than 15 years experience as a GP she has previously been well established in Melbourne CBD. She welcomes her existing patients and looks forward to developing new patient relationships.

Dr Erroleen is interested in all aspects of General Practice, aiming to provide a quality, holistic approach across a patient’s life span including women’s health, family planning, paediatrics, mental health and preventive health. During her free time, she enjoys long distance running and swimming.
Dr Shaminder Kaur

Dr Kaur is a British trained GP and studied at the University of Manchester qualifying as a doctor in 2008. She has experience in all areas of General practice including children’s health, women’s health, chronic disease management, mental health and worked extensively in elderly care medicine leading to her obtaining a diploma in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Geriatric Medicine.

Dr Kaur aims to achieve an excellent standard of patient care, she always involves patients in their management plans.
​
Dr Kaur enjoys building strong and lasting relationships with her patients and their families. At home she enjoys cooking, keeping fit and travelling.
Dr Chathuri Siriwardene
FRACGP MBBS
Dr Chathuri completed her medical degree at Monash University graduating with honours in 2014. She has been working in General Practice since 2017. She has also completed the Sydney Child Health program through the University of Sydney gaining further knowledge in paediatric medicine.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in children’s health, women’s health and can also perform Implanon insertions and removals. She is passionate about preventive health and health education ensuring that patients are well informed about their health care needs.

In her spare time she enjoys baking, running and travelling.
Dr Guy Unmack
MBBS BSc (Hons) DCH FRACGP
Dr Unmack is the newest addition to our team. After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2013, Guy worked at Eastern Health gaining experience in a wide variety of disciplines. Guy enjoys all aspects of general practice, but is particularly interested in preventative health strategies to keep his patients fit and well. Outside of medicine, Guy enjoys nature and cooking.
Georgia Bailey
Clinical Psychologist
Georgia a Clinical Psychologist who has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology. She provides a safe, warm and nurturing environment for her clients, and believes in a holistic approach to wellbeing. Her treatment approach is focused on finding the right fit for each individual by drawing on evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She aims to create an environment where her clients can explore their difficulties and concerns, while being supported to move forward.
Georgia works with adolescents and adults across a range of areas, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, disordered eating, work and school related stress, and adjustment difficulties. She is particularly passionate about working with people who experience anxiety.
Georgia is available for appointments from Tuesday to Saturday.

Practice Nurse
Lucy has worked across a wide range of specialties, and has extensive family practice nursing experience. She provides immunisations as well as general nursing for all chronic conditions, and believes strongly in quality of care. She speaks fluent Mandarin.

Senior Receptionist
Mimma is our senior receptionist and has been a medical receptionist for many years and is dedicated to providing a family friendly approach to our patients. She can speak fluent Italian, and is very passionate about coffee!
