Dr Deepak Dhokia

Dr Deepak was born in London and trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in Central London, graduating in 2005.

​

Since then he has worked across a broad range of specialities in London, priming him for a career in General Practice (Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, General Medicine and Psychiatry).

​

He has placed a great emphasis on postgraduate education during his career ­ completing his formal Royal College exams, as well as post­graduate diplomas prior to moving to Australia.

​

He is a firm believer in a holistic approach to patient care. He is an accredited provider of Shared Antenatal care ­with a recognised diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has a keen interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Dr Nuwan Athauda

DPD = Diploma in Practical Dermatology

Dr Nuwan was born and educated in London and completed his medical training at University College London (UCL). After graduating in 2002, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, general medicine and public health. Dr Nuwan completed his general practice training in 2006 attaining his MRCGP post graduate qualification as well as diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology and dermatology.

​

After working as a GP in the UK Dr Nuwan emigrated to Australia in 2010 where he gained the fellowship to The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Nuwan has a keen interest in paediatrics and family medicine. He also has special interest in weight loss and well being.

​

Having young children of his own has provided him with a greater insight to paediatric care. He believes that continuity of care is the key to better health and wellbeing. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his young family and is a keen golfer.

Dr Michelle Lee

MBBS (Hons) FRACGP CSCT (Women’s Health)

Dr. Michelle Lee was born and educated in Melbourne, graduating from Monash University in 1997 with honours.

 

She completed her residency at Peninsula Health,  gaining broad experience in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics  and Gynaecology, Aged Care and Psychiatry, before embarking on her  chosen career in General Practice.

 

Michelle completed her RACGP qualifications in 2002  and is a former examiner for the College of General Practitioners. She  has been a part of Ashburton Family Practice since it’s first year and  is a well established family doctor, with nearly twenty years practicing in Ashburton and surrounding suburbs.

 

Michelle aims to provide quality, holistic medical  care across a patient’s lifespan including paediatrics, aged care,  mental health, women’s and men’s health. She welcomes all existing  patients and looks forward to establishing new patient relationships.

 

She is married with two teenagers and a rescue Ragdoll cat.

Dr Erroleen Fung

Dr Erroleen Fung was born and educated in Melbourne, graduating from Monash University in 1997 with honours. Her internship and residency were completed at Box Hill Hospital and the Angliss Hospital where she gained experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, Urology and Psychiatry, before embarking on her chosen career in general practice. Dr Erroleen completed her RACGP qualifications in 2002.

​

With more than 15 years experience as a GP she has previously been well established in Melbourne CBD. She welcomes her existing patients and looks forward to developing new patient relationships.

​

Dr Erroleen is interested in all aspects of General Practice, aiming to provide a quality, holistic approach across a patient’s life span including women’s health, family planning, paediatrics, mental health and preventive health. During her free time, she enjoys long distance running and swimming.

Dr Chathuri Siriwardene

FRACGP MBBS

Dr Chathuri completed her medical degree at Monash University graduating with honours in 2014. She has been working in General Practice since 2017. She has also completed the Sydney Child Health program through the University of Sydney gaining further knowledge in paediatric medicine.

​

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in children’s health, women’s health and can also perform Implanon insertions and removals.  She is passionate about preventive health and health education ensuring that patients are well informed  about their health care needs.

​

In her spare time she enjoys baking, running and travelling.

Dr Bahram Naghibzadeh

MD, FRACGP

Dr Bahram Naghibzadeh has been a General Practitioner for over a decade. Bahram graduated from Iran in 2010, after defending his thesis on the genetics of diabetes. After practising as a Family Physician in various regions of Iran, he migrated to Australia in 2015 and has been serving the local community since 2016. He also dedicates two days a week to serve the community in Rural Victoria.

 

His qualifications include an AMC Certificate, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy from the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD), and a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Sexual Health Victoria (SHV). He also holds an academic position with Monash University, where he supervises medical students.

 

Bahram has a fervent interest in skin cancer medicine and has attended multiple courses and workshops in this field. These include SCCA’s Certificate of Dermoscopy, Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermatopathology for Skin Cancer Clinicians, HealthCert’s Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Professional Certificate of Clinical Procedures, as well as RACGP’s Dermatological Surgery Workshop. He is currently a Master's Candidate in the University of Queensland’s Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) program.

 

He adopts a patient-centred approach to health care, emphasising on preventive measures and health promotion with active patient involvement. In his spare time, Bahram enjoys gardening, playing tennis, and photography.

Dr Ashwini Enigo

FRACGP MBBS

Dr. Ashwini Enigo graduated in India in 2009. Ashwini is passionate about quality health care.  She enjoys all aspects of general practice including chronic disease management, preventative health and mental health. She has a keen interest in women’s health and is Implanon training.

 

Ashwini also enjoys paediatrics and has completed a Diploma of Child Health.

 

Ashwini is fluent in Tamil and Malayalam.

 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cooking

Dr Chun-Yiu (Raymond) Tseng - Photo_edit

Dr Chun-Yiu (Raymond) Tseng

MD, FRACGP

Dr Raymond Tseng graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2017 and has been working as a GP since 2021. Prior to embarking on the journey as a GP, Raymond completed his residency at Monash Health and Eastern Health across a broad range of specialities including paediatric, psychiatry, general medicine, orthopaedic and emergency. 

Raymond completed his GP training in regional West Gippsland Victoria, gaining experience in a breadth of general practice presentations. 

Raymond enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a strong patient focused approach, ensuring that all patients receive the utmost attention and personalised treatment. He has a special interest in preventative medicine, men’s health, children’s health and mental health. 

Raymond is fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien. 

Raymond spends his free time playing basketball and walking his dogs.

Practice Nurses -Sam and Libby

Sam and Libby have worked across a wide range of specialties, and have extensive family nursing experience.  They provide all immunisations as well as general nursing for all chronic conditions, and believe strongly in quality of care.

Mimma Schiavello

    Practice Manager

Mimma is our practice manager and has been in the medical field for over 15 years and is dedicated to providing a family friendly approach to our patients. She can speak fluent Italian, and is very passionate about coffee!
